MOBFriday 14th 9:00am - 1:00pm
'Universally Challenged' (RuneQuest) with Michael O’Brien

Lhankor Mhy is the God of Knowledge, Learning, and Lore. And the Great Temple of Knowledge in Nochet City, Esrolia, is the truly the greatest temple of Lhankor Mhy in Glorantha. Every year, young apprentices sit exams, hoping to qualify as sages (initiates) of Lhankor Mhy. This adventure takes a group of apprentice sages through their examinations, including the rigorous Sage Acceptability Test, the perilous Field Trip and, finally, the tongue-tying Oral. This is a RQG-ified revision of 'The Getting of Wisdom', a mostly rules-less ‘maximum game fun’ scenario I wrote long long ago for RuneQuest Con Down Under II. If perchance you’ve played it before and want to play it again, no worries: Lhankor Mhy encourages candidates to resit.

Matt RyanFriday 14th 9:00am - 1:00pm
'The Devil Inside' (Call of Cthulhu) with Matt Ryan

Late August, 1921. Several thousand striking coal miners and their families have gathered along creek beds and streams throughout the shadowy Appalachian Mountains. In the morning they march on Logan, the capitol of West Virginia, to demand better working conditions and relief from the rapacious and cruel work policies of the coal mining companies. Almost an equal number of county police, state police, and hired private detectives assemble to stop them, their ranks bolstered by two divisions of the Unites States Army. Yet as deadly as the Battle of Blair Mountain becomes, a group of miners finds an even deadlier threat up in the hollows of nearby Knob Mountain, the very peak that the locals say the devil lives inside. “The Devil Inside” is a Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition game for up to six players. Pre-generated characters are provided.

'The Goat Man is Coming' (Rivers of London) with Lynne Hardy

The Folly has been called in to investigate strange sightings of some sort of man-beast along Parkland Walk, a “linear nature reserve” running between Finsbury Park and Highgate. But what has its appearance to do with the strange rash of tags declaring “The goat-man is coming,” and is there any link to the urban myths that haunt the ghost station at Crouch End and its mysterious spriggan statue? Players: 2-4 (pre-gens provided).

Matt RyanSaturday 15th 9:00am - 1:00pm
'The Terror on the Seas' (Call of Cthulhu) with Matt Ryan

New York, New York, 1932. The 18th Amendment has locked the country in the grim grips of sobriety, temperance, and abstinence. G-men and bootleggers play a ruthless game of hide the hooch, and Joe Everyman suffers the consequences of a dry gin mill. But not so on the high seas, where Prohibition be damned and liquor runs as free as the salty breeze. You have tickets aboard the S.S. America, ocean liner scheduled for a six-day voyage to Havana and back, all expenses paid and all the rotgut you can guzzle. What could go wrong?

Jeff RichardSaturday 15th 7:00pm - 11:00pm
Jeff Runs Something' (Call of Cthulhu) with Jeff Richard

Jeff runs something based on whatever he is working on at the time. It is Call of Cthulhu, it will have pregens, and it will be fun - that's all we know at this point!!!! 5 pregens.

'Crimson King' (RuneQuest) with Nick Brooke

A game of intrigue and conspiracy in the highest echelons of the Lunar Empire. Play as the elite leaders of the Lunar Empire, confronted by treachery and betrayal on all sides. Crimson King uses the RuneQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha rules in a semi-freeform fashion. 6 players.
