Death and Discovery in the Vermont Hills!

In 1929, a student died during an expedition in the Vermont Hills. One year later, the Miskatonic University sent another team on the same expedition…

It's time to harvest.

What's Inside?

First released as a six-scenario Organized Play series, A Time to Harvest is available now for the first time in a complete and updated tome. The campaign is compatible with both Call of Cthulhu and Pulp Cthulhu rules.

Into The Hills...

Red Sign

Set in the picturesque state of Vermont at the beginning of the 1930s, A Time to Harvest is a six-part campaign centered on the valley surrounding the sleeping town of Cobb's Corners. A wellspring of resources for the Keeper, the book includes a full suit of player handouts, maps, and details on the key locations preparing you for both the events of the campaign, as well as giving you plenty of information to write your own scenarios set in 1920s Vermont.

Cobb's Corners

Mi-Go Attack

A small town nestled in a bountiful valley, Cobb's Corners is a key location in A Time to Harvest. The book details the Vermont town, helping you bring it to life at the tabletop, and to give the setting for your games of Call of Cthulhu a rich, lived-in feeling.

On Campus

A Wellspring of Investigators

Adventurer Portrait

A Time To Harvest contains new rules and advice for creating student investigators. Additionally, there is information on incorporating existing characters into the campaign by bringing in your investigators that have cut their teeth in other scenarios for Call of Cthulhu.

The book includes 10 pre-generated investigators, giving new and eager players everything they need to jump right into the mystery of Cobb's Corners.

What The Critics Say

  • "A splendid 1930s campaign splicing some canonical locations with the latest and greatest of 7th edition goodness... An unexpected addition to the Chaosium canon, but a very worthwhile and rewarding one."

    — Paul St John MacIntosh, RPGNet Review of A Time to Harvest.

An excellent campaign - lots of possibilities

Posted by Morgan Hua on 11th Oct 2021

I've run this 3 times with different groups. This is a pretty solid campaign. Chapter 1 has a great twist that works very well and Chapter 2 flows well from Chapter 1. Chapter 3 can be expanded with other scenarios as that can become a basis for another series of scenarios for experienced investigators. Chapter 4 & 5 brings the campaign to a conclusion, finishing the events started in Chapters 1 & 2. Chapter 6 is an optional scenario that can be slotted in if the PCs go through a gate (actually pretty fun, but maybe slightly out of place in tone for the campaign). The number and variety of NPCs in this campaign makes this a very fun sandbox. Student hijinks in Chapter 1 & 2 is the icing on the cake in this campaign. The illustrations in this is very evocative. The original organized play had few illustrations and had mainly handouts and maps. This has been rectified with additional art. The Miskatonic University setting can be used as a basis for future campaigns set on campus such as Crimson Letters in the core book. I used this plus the Miskatonic University book as a basis for a campaign in Arkham, relocating various published scenarios to this locale. The FOC HQ can be a launching point for various scenarios the Keeper may want to send PCs on. They'll be veteran investigators with deep pockets. But I wouldn't do too many scenarios here as you want the PCs from Chapter 1&2 to experience Chapters 4&5. But nothing prevents the PCs from continuing to work for FOC after Chapter 5.
