This edition marks two important milestones in gaming history—the 40th anniversary of Pendragon, the game that legendary designer Greg Stafford considered his greatest work (or ‘Magnum Opus’), and the 50th anniversary of Chaosium, the company that Stafford founded in 1975.
The Pendragon: Magnum Opus Edition is a unique, collector’s edition of the Pendragon Core Rulebook, containing everything you need to play the current edition of the game. It is compatible with all other Pendragon 6th edition products.

The Passage of Time
Pendragon campaigns are generational: you will grow old, you may marry, you may have children, and when you die (by the sword or the slow decay of time), you resume play as your heir! The Pendragon: Core Rulebooks contains rules for The Winter Phase—the downtime period of the game for characters to train, age, and even go on side quests.
