Age of Vikings is a standalone game built with Chaosium’s Basic Roleplaying: Universal Game Engine. This rulebook contains the Hero creation rules, including Passions, family history, and ever-important Icelandic nicknames. The book also has rules for the Basic Roleplaying system as used in Age of Vikings, including skills, conflict resolution, and hero development

A great experience
Loads of fun 10th century Norse adventuring to be had by all. There are both typos a few historical inaccuracies, but those things can be fix or omitted. At its core, this a quality game that fulfills the Mythic Norse life sim enjoyer!

I love the idea of this. However, it is chock full of typos and inconsistencies that should have been caught before it went to print.

An Excellent Game
I appreciate how this game and every other historical TTRPG from Chaosium doesn't shy away from the darker aspects of history. It helps that the game is so fun to read. This game comes highly recommended from me, as so many other Chaosium games are.
