    Eagerly awaited but ultimately disappointing

My rating is based predominantly on how much value for money I got from this pdf. The new material was in general very good, interesting and useful. The artwork as with all books in this incarnation of RQ is excellent. Pictures have been used to cleverly summarise some key content too, which is a nice touch. The standout sections in terms of new content (for RQG) were for me those on Orlanith Culture, Cults of Sartar, the Principality of Sartar and the clans section. The last section on Boldhome is the jewel in the crown and breathes life into that city beautifully. Other sections have cut and paste heavily from the RQG Core rule book and LoR: Dragon Pass. If I am paying for it again I expect something in return not just a straight rehash. It makes the book feel either lazy, rushed or cynical or perhaps all three. I've not factored into my rating the now ubiquitous poor editing and repetitiveness of the writing (one paragraph on weather is literally repeated on the very next page). It's simply not good enough considering the price tag. This might very well be the last RQG book I buy.
