We Are All Us - Free Adventures

We're commemorating the anniversary of the passing of Chaosium, Inc's founder Greg Stafford with the release of new free RPG adventures!

Greg Stafford - 1948-2018

Chaosium founder Greg Stafford passed away on October 10th, 2018, in his sweat lodge at his home in Arcata, CA. He died as he lived, on a spiritual quest of enlightenment.

One year on, company President Rick Meints expressed the sentiments we all felt at Chaosium and continue to feel:

"Even though a year has passed since Greg went on his last shamanic journey, we often feel his absence. We want to thank all of the many, many people who have reached out to us via email, online, and in person, often at the conventions we attend, to let us know how much he impacted their lives. As we continue crafting our games it is hard not to think of him; each and every Chaosium game line was impacted by his creative touch.

Greg's spirit remains with us, his words echo loudly, and we are honored to be the keepers of his legacy. As part of that we, the Chaosium, want to memorialize him with the first “We are all us” series of events – playing games, meeting new people, and experiencing something new."

#weareallus - Play a Tabletop Game to Remember Greg Stafford

To honor Greg Stafford's legacy and with his family's blessing, we encourage Chaosium fans and gamers in general to play a tabletop game from October 10 to October 31 in his remembrance and honor. You don't have to play our games, just game with your group and celebrate.

Pendragon: The Adventure of the Great Hunt

The Great Hunt - Cover

The Adventure of the Great Hunt is a special preview of Pendragon 6th Edition. Inside, you will find everything you need to play: a six-page Quick Start version of the rules, pregenerated characters, and a scenario that sees the knights set off on a month-long hunt, racing against time to save the life of a great and noble knight and defeat an infernal dragon ravaging the countryside. Only they will find salvation lies not in steel and brawn, but in the gentle belch of a panther...

Greg started work on the new edition ten years ago. Since that time, it has gone through multiple development phases and is at last nearly ready for its public debut. He called this, and always intended it to be, his “ultimate edition” and we are proud to see it finally coming to fruition.
