Significant Streams #18: The God Learners

Significant Streams is a feature on the Chaosium news blog where we highlight actual play streams, podcasts, and YouTube channels featuring Chaosium games that we think are worth checking out.

The God Learners is a podcast about gaming in, and reading about, the mythical world of Glorantha. Glorantha is of course the fantasy setting "discovered" by Greg Stafford, Chaosium's founder, and used in countless roleplaying games, board games, war games, video games, and more. In each episode, the cast brings a guest to discuss a cool scenario, location, creature, game system, or book related to Glorantha.

Many guests are authors from the Jonstown Compendium, Chaosium's community content program for RuneQuest, the currently officially supported game for playing in Glorantha. There is also an ongoing series of interviews with newcomers to Glorantha, highlighting both what is great and what is difficult about such a rich and long-running setting. Newbies and long-time Gloranthan scholars should all find something to enjoy in this podcast.

We are all us!

The God Learners podcast is hosted by Joerg and Ludo. Joerg has been studying Glorantha for a long time, while Ludo is a (relatively) recent convert with crazy ideas.

Chaosium guests (so far) include Nick Brooke, Ian Cooper, James Coquillat, Bridgett Jeffries, Rick Meints, and Jeff Richard!
