Earlier this year Chaosium re-released a new updated edition of Alone Against the Dark, Matt Costello's classic Call of Cthulhu solo adventure. For other times you want to play Call of Cthulhu and don't have your group together there's Alone Against the Flames, the introductory solo adventure that teaches the Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition rules.
In the same vein as these, we're excited to see that Miskatonic Repository creator Nicholas Johnson has recently launched a Call of Cthulhu solo adventure of his own: Alone Against the Tide. Like Alone Against the Flames, this is designed to be run with no Keeper and only using the Call of Cthulhu 7th edition Quickstart rules.
Alone Against the Tide is a Pay-What-You-Want release on the Miskatonic Repository. We have many requests for more solo adventures of this type, so we hope this is inspiration to other community content creators!
What is the Miskatonic Repository?
Are you a Keeper looking for new scenarios and story elements? A player looking for something mysterious to spark a character idea? Is your group looking for eerie ideas to use in your game? The Miskatonic Repository is where you can find —and create —self-published material for the Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game.
