Horror in the Cisterns is our very special Call of Cthulhu actual play show, coming up in Istanbul, Turkey this Saturday (June 13th). The show takes place before a live audience underground in the 5th century Cistern of Theodosius.

Even if you can't make it to Istanbul you can get the official Horror in the Cisterns t-shirt from our Redbubble store. It features a depiction of Istanbul's famous serpent column by Lionel Marty. 

Horror in the Cisterns part of the A Viking in the Sun project, exploring Norwegian Harald “Hardrada” Sigurdsson's heroic exploits in the Mediterranean world in the eleventh century. This international and interdisciplinary academic project also includes a strong performative and creative element, which will serve to interrogate the subject matter imaginatively, but also for public engagement and impact purposes, and for experimenting in ways to integrate academic research and the creative industries.
