Our free Age of Vikings Quickstart lets you plunge right into the action, becoming heroes like those of old. It has everything you need to experience Age of Vikings: game rules simplified for immediate play with no prep, a glossary of game terms, ready-to-play heroes, and an adventure to get your viking heroes right into the action!

How to Begin:
Along with this Quickstart, you only need a few things to start your Age of Vikings adventures:
- Time: our Quickstart scenario 'Belly of the Beast' is designed to played and finished in a single session of two-four hours.
- Place: If you’re playing in person, a table and comfortable seating for everyone is a must. If you’re playing online, use the voice and/or video program of your choice. Age of Vikings is available on the Virtual Tabletop platforms Quest Portal and Foundry, and there's also an Age of Vikings character sheet for Roll20.
- Dice: you'll need a standard set of gaming dice to play Age of Vikings including two D10s to roll percentiles. Ideally every player will have their own set of dice, but you can share. Don't worry if you don't own any gaming dice though, there are free dice rollers available on line.
- Players: our Quickstart supports between three and five players, one of whom is the gamemaster (GM). No one needs to know anything about the setting or have previous experience with roleplaying games!
