Clear Credit... even if you're 12 years old

poster in the Call of Cthulhu RPG & Players Facebook group recently said that they loved the clear credit section at the beginning of our new Innsmouth book, and shared this image from it:

These clear credit sections follow directly on from the credits page in our releases, going into a lot more detail. The clear credit includes detailed creator attributions (who did exactly what in the book), along with information about copyrights, third party usage and permissions, prior editions, and the like.

It's a great way of acknowledging everyone involved (present and past) in the book's creation. Creating our games is a team effort!

...Speaking of TTRPG creator credits, it's always been our practice to include creators' names on our covers. And did you know one of the authors receiving equal billing on this RuneQuest box from 1982 – alongside such luminous names as Stafford, Perrin, and Petersen et al – 'Hoffman', was a 12 year old kid?*

*Read more about young Hoffman in this Black Gate Magazine piece, and how that kid took his first-ever paycheck from Chaosium (for editing work - $127) and certainly went on to bigger things.
