Małgorzata Śliwka-Kurek

Małgorzata Śliwka-Kurek is a staff artist in Chaosium's board games studio. She specializes in computer graphics, though she still occasionally reaches for a brush or pen out of sentiment. Her other great passion is fantasy—literature, RPGs, board games, and video games. This combination keeps her head full of ideas, which she eagerly brings to life in digital form.

Based in Poland, Śliwka completed her first commercial projects 15 years ago. Since then, she's primarily focused on creating illustrations for board games, card games, books, and magazines centered around the fantasy genre.

Fun fact: Śliwka holds a law degree and a doctorate in law, but she says it’s art that brings her the greatest joy.
